A LEGACY OF ACTIVE FAITH
The beginning of Cascade Church coincided with the start of rapid growth in our surrounding community.
Within three years of launching, we outgrew our first location and purchased a larger facility to accommodate the expansion of people and ministries.
In its first ten years, Cascade developed a thriving ministry for youth, hosted a MOPs ministry for mothers of preschoolers, launched community groups, Bible studies, community sports teams, Alpha, and more.
We know that the church is more than what happens inside the building on a Sunday morning. Following the example of Jesus, we have always been committed to meeting needs that arise here, near, and far.
From the start, Cascade's leadership has felt called to give generously to outreach. We have consistently grown in that commitment, now donating over $500,000 annually toward missions, church planting, and outreach.
STEADFAST KINGDOM WORK
The population in the Skykomish Valley continues to rise, giving us fresh opportunities to live out our values to Love God, Love People, and Live Generously.
As Cascade has continued to grow, from that initial group of 100 to now over 1300 attending weekly, we have expanded our staff to do specialized ministry for relational and spiritual growth.
In the midst of this growth, Cascade has also planted churches, sent out leaders, and to this day continues to fulfill this part of our mission.
In 2008, Cascade acquired the building next door and built out the Community Life Center. The CLC is now home to groups, classes, a counseling center, sports leagues, a homeschool coop, and many other community events.
A VISION FOR THE FUTURE
There is more work to do!
Our desire is to continually move forward in the mission God has given us.
Right now, we are dreaming about what it would look like to do this ministry with ZERO debt!
Relieving the last 3.3 million of the mortgage (that’s a $30,000 per month savings!) would allow us to:
Expand each ministry’s budget
Maintain our 30-year-old facilities
Hire additional staff
Increase the number of missionaries supported and churches planted
Have further impact in our community and around the world
