God calls the family to play a vital role in discipling the next generation. How this is accomplished varies from family to family. Here at Cascade we want to come alongside parents as you disciple your family. Children’s Ministry at Cascade Church works with you as we provide age appropriate learning. Like you, we want them to learn from God's Word and seek after a relationship with their Creator and Savior. As the children grow older we dig deeper into the Bible to build a foundation for their relationship with Jesus to grow.
In our Elementary ministry, we work to continue building up a strong, gospel-centered foundation for your children. We do this by teaching children about the nature and character of God—that He is wise, generous, loving and good. Our hope is to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children by creating environments, curriculum and resources that center on the gospel of Jesus Christ. On Sundays, in CascadeKids, we use Bible centered curriculum, do creative activities, play games, and develop friendships.
Leave your baby in the loving care of our wonderful team of Nursery & Toddler volunteers, or come in yourself and use the Nursery to care for your own child.
In the Preschool ministry, we strive to create the first building blocks of a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We teach from the Scriptures and help parents proclaim to their kids who God is and what He has done in the person and work of Jesus Christ. On Sundays this energetic and eager to learn group enjoys weekly Bible stories, singing, activities, snacks and crafts.
How do I check my kids in?
We're excited to meet you! Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early on your first visit so you have time to settle in. Look for the "First Time Kids Check In" signs and a friendly face wearing a blue badge. We'll be able to direct you to the classrooms and answer any questions.
Your kids are your greatest treasure! With that in mind, we are honored that you entrust them with us and we make every attempt to ensure their safety so they can have fun and you can enjoy service. These are some of our safety precautions:
Routine background checks of all volunteers, ages 18+
Adult-to-child ratios designed to meet or exceed state standards
"Two adult rule" for the safety of both kids and grown-ups
Handwashing/sanitizing done after bathroom visits, sneezing or coughing, and before any snacks
Supervisory staff trained in CPR & First Aid
Child Dedications are a very special time and we love to honor families and their children with this time of commitment. It's all about acknowledging your children as a gift from God, professing your intent to raise your children to know and love Jesus, and also for your church family to commit to doing their part to walk with you as you disciple your kids.
If you'd like to participate in an upcoming Child Dedication, please fill out the online request form.
