What to Expect at Overnight Camps
WORSHIP EXPERIENCES
Each day at camp includes meaningful worship, clear biblical teaching, and practical next steps that help students encounter Jesus and live out His truth in everyday life.
BIBLICAL TEACHING
Teaching helps students understand not just what the Bible says, but why it matters—inviting them to ask honest questions and apply God’s Word to their everyday lives.
CABIN GROUPS
Cabin groups create space for genuine relationships and Christ-centered community, where students can reflect, talk through what they’re learning, apply their faith, and build lasting friendships under the care of trained leaders.
FUN ACTIVITIES
At camp, activity time is intentionally designed to challenge students, strengthen community, and create meaningful, unforgettable moments together.
CHILL TIME & RECREATION
Unstructured activity time and simple shared moments create space for students to slow down, build friendships, reflect on what they’re learning, and receive encouragement from caring leaders.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
We believe that no student should be prevented from attending Summer Camp due to financial hardship. If you need financial assistance, we are happy to partner with you. If you have need for a Campership (Scholarship) because of financial hardship, you can apply for that after the registration process. You will need to pay the non-refundable deposit during registration.
-
The deposit is non-refundable. Any remaining camp cost is refundable until the date registration closes (different for each camp). After that date, no refunds will be issued.
-
All of our camp leaders are already involved in Students or Kids Ministry. Each adult leader has completed an application, passed a background check, a Ministry Safe training, and met with a member of the Student/Kids Ministry staff. Leaders coming to camp have demonstrated a clear love for students/kids and for the Lord.
-
Our Camp Medical volunteers are on site to provide basic care and administer medications.
-
Please note any dietary restrictions on your student’s registration and we will do our best to accommodate.
-
No. All of our camps operate as a closed campus for the best care and safety of all students and leaders. Once camp is underway, no outside visitors are allowed on campus. Any necessary visitors must receive direct approval from the ministry leader prior to arriving on site.
This policy helps us maintain a secure environment where campers can focus on building community, having fun, and growing in their faith without outside distractions or safety concerns, as well as allow our adult teams to focus on their responsibilities for camper care. If you have any questions, please email the ministry leader.
-
To provide the very best camp experience for every student, we do not typically allow campers to be dropped off late or picked up early. However, we understand that there are extenuating circumstances and will do our best to accommodate. Please reach out to the ministry leader with questions about pick up/drop off.
-
We understand that life happens, and there may be rare situations that require an exception. If you have a unique circumstance or a special request, please reach out directly to the ministry leader. We are here to partner with you and your family to provide the best experience for your student.
-
The packing list will be included in the confirmation email you receive after you have registered your camper. You will be notified regarding any changes or additions to the packing list via the email you used to register your camper.
-
We place a high value on friendships and biblical community at camp. Campers are grouped by grade and gender with other students led by trained, caring cabin leaders. If your child is already part of a small group, we’ll do our best to keep them with their leader and group during camp, as cabin space allows.
When registering, campers can request a friend to room with, and we’ll make every effort to honor those requests whenever possible.
-
Each ministry leader will communicate via email to let parents know that campers have arrived to camp safely, as well as to share periodic updates during camp. Please be sure to check the email you used to register your camper for all camp updates.
