November 23, 2025 - His Wonderful Story of Grace
How do you feel entering into this Christmas Season? Read Matthew 1:20-23. Are you dreading it? Is it too early? Is it too familiar?
According to Peter, John, and Paul, what was chosen from BEFORE the beginning of creation?
How was grace found in the creation account? Read Colossians 1:15-20. How is it grace to be created by, through, and for His redemptive plan?
How was grace forecast in Genesis 3:15 and 21? What does this say about every story following this account?
How did this need for grace become exhibited for ALL of mankind in Genesis 6:5-8
Why is the account of Abraham and Isaac a needed story to forecast Man's need for grace, God's provision of grace, and the thread of grace running through his descendants?
What does God show us through this grace running through Abe, to Isaac, to Jacob, through Joseph, and to Judah?
How was God painting a picture through His provision in the Exodus story? What stands out to you?
The Law and the Temple Sacrifice System were built to remind man of his inability and need for God's temporary provision of grace. How did this system show man's future failure and the need for a permanent Savior?

November 20, 2025 - Looking Upon the Serpent in the Wilderness
Have you ever been awestruck by something and couldn't look away? What was it, and what made it so alluring?
Out of all the things that God could have used to discipline the Israelites, why do you think he chose snakes?
Why do you think Jesus chose to fulfill the typology of the serpent being raised up?
Nicodemus clearly went to Jesus' crucifixion, and he came prepared with 75lbs of oil & spices. Do you think he was already convinced of Jesus before or after seeing him raised up on the cross like the bronze serpent?
December 7, 2025 - The Gospel of Great Joy
Have you ever considered the Angel's perspective through time leading up to the birth of Jesus? How excited would you be if you had spent thousands of years waiting for this moment?
Read Genesis 12:1-3. How does God promise to use geography to demonstrate His plans?
Read Deuteronomy 11:8-17. What is God engraining in His people by using the land, agriculture, and water? If you can, take a moment as a group and think through what life would be like in the primitive world and living dependently on rains from heaven in the dessert and in the promised land.
What should this lifestyle engrain in people concerning salvation, dependency, and provision?
How did God reinforce this truth through the Feast of Booths? Talk through defining joy as being abundantly grateful for His salvation and finding gratitude for His abundant provision.
Read through the scriptures that connect this theme with living waters. How did Israel struggle to be grateful and dependent on His provision?

December 14, 2025 - The Shepherd’s Lamb of Peace
The imagery of a Shepherd tending his flock is one that is used throughout scripture. What are some ways you have seen this in the Old and New Testaments?
The nativity story in Luke uses the lowly shepherds as the first to receive word of the messiah being born into the world. What significance has this played for you as you have read this story over the years?
What is being foreshadowed in Genesis 3:15 and Genesis 3:21? How is this reinforced by the first shepherd Abel in Genesis 4?
What parallels do you see in the binding of Isaac in Genesis 22?
The stories and prophecies of Bethlehem begin to set it apart from other biblical cities. What humility was found in Bethlehem? What majesty was Bethlehem destined for?
Exodus 12 and 2 Chronicles 3 establish Mount Moriah as the designated place for sacrificial lambs to cover Israel’s sins? What do we learn about the state of man and their yearly need to have a relationship with God?

The Bethlehem lamb that was led to be sacrificed once and for all in the City where God provided Peace for all mankind. Here, the Shepherd King of Peace from Bethlehem laid down His life to show us the only way to be pleasing to God. Have you placed your faith in this wonderful Savior?
December 21, 2025 - Songs of Love
Do you get upset when someone switches songs on you? Why are all the components of a song needed to capture our attention?
Have you ever thought of the Old Testament being the first half of a really good song?
How does Jesus' birth bring everything together to bridge this wonderful song of God's love?
Have you ever wondered how people could have missed Jesus being the resolution to everything Israel had been waiting for?
When you consider the Messianic Prophecies that call for a King, can you see why people may not of thought of Jesus fitting the descriptions? What was Israel confused about when it comes to the "King of Israel" and the "Kingdom of God"?
When you hear the Messianic Priestly Prophecies, it's almost impossible not to see Jesus fulfilling everything. What could have kept Israel from feeling its need for this kind of a Messianic Priest?
How do John 3:16 and Isaiah 9:6-7 bring these prophecies together? How does Jesus' birth, life, death, and resurrection fulfill all 300+ prophecies?
Jesus opened the disciples eyes to the wonder of the Scriptures all coming together to sing one song of God's love to the world. Do you think it's possible that you have missed a lot of this wonder because of wrong expectations or trying to put Jesus in the wrong "box"
