Take today as an opportunity to explore our vision and mission through the lens of faith application towards others.
Go through he "Holy Spirit P.O.W.E.R." acronym in how you can Love God, Love People, and Live Generously like Jesus toward others.
What Mission did Jesus send His disciples on?
We often use the 4 Chair illustration to talk through the path to becoming a mature disciple and follower of Jesus. How do things change when you look through the lens of investment into others?
Who are you sharing Jesus with?
Who are you discipling and helping grow in their spiritual maturity?
Where are you serving in and out of the church?
What does it look like to be a part of a movement of disciple makers?
January 11, 2026 - To Share the Gospel
When was the last time you openly shared your faith with a friend?
"Preach the gospel at all times and if necessary use words," St. Francis of Assisi
What does this quote mean? Do you find yourself reluctant to use words?
Do you feel confident that you can clearly share the Gospel?

Take some time to talk through each of these points and talk through the scriptures you would use with each.
Now personalize the Gospel. In your group, share who you were before Jesus. What led you to Jesus? How did you come to believe the Gospel of Jesus? How has life in a relationship with Jesus changed your life?
Read Matthew 9:36-38. What does it look like to see your everyday interactions with people through the lens of Jesus' compassion?
Who is one person that you feel God may be leading you to share the gospel with? How can you build an intentional relationship with that person?
Will you be ready to use words to clearly share the gospel and your testimony with that person?
January 18, 2026 - One to Disciple
What resonated with you from the message?
Where in your life right now do you sense God calling you to step up and actively disciple someone?
How would seeing people through an eternal perspective change how you relate to them?
Which part of being a disciple-maker challenges you most?
What do you think of the statement- “It’s hard to speak the truth in love if we’re not convinced the truth really is loving.” Is there any area where you struggle to speak the truth?
Who is one person in your life you could intentionally invest in this week?
Which step do you need most right now: become a disciple, be discipled, learn to disciple, or start making disciples—and what’s one practical action you can take?
January 25, 2026 - Made to Serve
What does VBS reveal to us about the trajectory of ministry God has us on?
Does it feel overwhelming when we also look at all the other ministries and growth happening in our church?
In verses 2-7 the disciples are named and given a work to do. Read Ephesians 2:10 and talk through the connections. Have you been named by Jesus and has He prepared a work for you to do?
Workers are empowered and dependent. How would it feel to be empowered like the disciples? How did they remain dependent in the process of working? When you think of serving in the Church do you feel inadequate? How do you need to depend on Him to step into serving?
We are not made to sit, stay, and soak but to Go, Make, and Serve. How did this get them "out of the kiddie pool" and into a practice and applied life of faith? How does serving force you to understand your faith more deeply?
What is the cost associated with serving? Are the people in need worth the cost? Is the life and name of Jesus worth living for?
What would it look like and feel like to have a front row seat to God being at work? Is that something you want to miss out on?
Where could God be calling you to step into service in Cascade or in our Community? How will serving help you grow closer to Jesus and live more abundantly?
