July 6, 2025 - Do You Treasure The WORD?

  1. What do you find yourself memorizing and why do you think these things are so easily memorized for you?

  2. What is your experience with memorizing scripture?

  3. What does it mean to "store" His WORD in your heart?

  4. How is this a relational gift between us and God and how has that been expressed in the memorization of it over the years of our faith?

  5. What is the difference between a "means of grace" and a religious duty?

  6. How does marinating in the Scripture change our minds and help us not to sin against God?

  7. What does inside out transformation look like and how is that different from rugged behavioral management?

  8. Psalm 119:105 visually connects us to our need to carry the flashlight with us. What does it look like to carry the flashlight into our daily lives and apply scriptures throughout our day?

  9. Take some time as a group or individual and begin internalizing this weeks scriptures. Talk through why these scriptures are important for your week with God.

July 13, 2025 - The Way Of The Cross

  1. Did Paul depend on his oratory skills to do the work of the Lord?

  2. How different is the wisdom of the world from the wisdom of God?

  3. Why were the Jews unable to accept Jesus as the coming Messiah?

  4. What does living the way of the cross mean for you practically?

July 20, 2025 - #BlessedByHisGrace

  1. #Blessed may be one of the most overused tags on social media. What does it mean to be blessed?

  2. This verse was used by the High Priest Aaron to communicate God's blessing over all of Israel. This verse was also used by Fathers every Saturday to pass on God's blessings to his children. God's blessings are ment to be received and passed on. As a parent how do you disciple your children by passing this blessing to them?

  3. Talk through the three ways God blessed Israel (material pleasures, commandments, holidays). How should we see these blessings in our life and develop a heart of gratitude for them in similar ways?

  4. What does it mean to be "kept" by God?

  5. What is Grace and how did God bless His people with grace in the Old Testament?

  6. How does God shine (illuminate understanding and purify) grace on us? Everything in the Old Testament and everything in our life should point us to our great need for God. Who is God in His goodness? Who are we in our sinfulness? How does this keep us from His presence and the life He wants for us? Why are we desperate for God and His grace?

  7. Have you understood the Gospel in this way? When did you come to your point of recognition and turn to God as the only means to fix your sin problem? How was this made possible through the person of Jesus?

  8. Read John 1:12, 16 What does it look like for God to bless you as His child with grace for salvation and grace upon grace each day?

  9. Numbers 6 then moves to show how we are kept in His peace. What is peace and how does God lifting His face to us reflect how we receive peace from Him?

  10. Much like grace we are made at peace with God at the moment of salvation but we then get to experience His peace every day. How does God desire us to walk in His peace?

  11. How is this reflected in Jesus words in John 14 and the Spirits work in our daily lives?

  12. Each New Testament letter is a letter about Grace and Peace. How are we to receive Grace and Peace through these letters? How are we meant to pass this along to others?

July 27, 2025 - He Will Finish What He Starts

  1. Take a minute to review the scriptures we have internalized in this series. How have they been beneficial in your life?

  2. Read Philippians 1:6 and ask yourself, "Do I expect God to be actively working in my life everyday?”

  3. Where is Paul's confidence routed from? What should happen to your expectations when you think the King of the Universe has started something in you?

  4. Read Philippians 1:9-11 and Colossians 1:9-14. What is the work God is doing in your life? How expansive is this work as described in these two sections of scripture?

  5. If God is doing a Righteous work in you, then how will that translate into a righteous work through you? What did this look like for Paul?

  6. Paul expects this work to move toward completion. How does this completion play out in your life according to the scriptures Michael brought up? When will this truly be completed and what does that mean for the rest of your life?

  7. Talk through the three implications of this scripture.

  8. Read Philemon 1:6. What does it mean to be active in the sharing of your faith and how does this impact Philippians 1:6

August 3, 2025 - The Judgment Seat of Christ

  1. Before today, did you know that the Bema seat was only for believers?

  2. If you were to stand before Jesus today, what do you think He would be pleased with?

  3. Has this changed your perspective about current issues in your life?

  4. Does this encourage or discourage you and why?

August 10, 2025 - Psalm 1, a Blessed Life

  1. What resonated with you from this message?

  2. Verse 2 speaks of delighting in and meditating on God’s law. What does that look like practically in your daily or weekly rhythms?

  3. John said that “whatever shapes your thinking shapes your life.” What sources (media, people, habits) are currently shaping your thoughts most, and how do they compare to God’s Word?

  4. Jeremiah 17 and Psalm 1 say the person who trusts in the Lord is like a tree planted by water. In what ways does your life currently reflect that image—or fall short of it?

  5. John talked about how “fruit is for others.” What kind of spiritual fruit is being produced in your life that others can experience or benefit from?

  6. Joshua 1:8 links obedience to success. How do you define “success” in your life right now, and how is it tied to your obedience to God’s Word?

August 17, 2025 - Hold Fast

  1. Many cultures have used the term "Hold Fast"; they all carry the same implication. What does it mean to hold fast?

  2. How is this reflected in thermostats as opposed to thermometers?

  3. Together, read through Hebrews 10:19-22. How does this confession of hope describe the gospel?

  4. What does it mean to hold fast to solid theology? Now that you are a follower of Jesus how do you go deeper in your understanding of who Jesus (God) is, what he has done, who you were, and who you are now?

  5. What does it mean to hold fast to your new life in this confession and address your addictions or old idols?

  6. Holding fast sets us on a new trajectory forward in life. Read Hebrews 10:24-25. What do we do to better hold fast in our faith?

  7. The readers of Hebrews were facing circumstances of persecution and a culture tempting them to conform. How is this similar to us and how should we hold fast against culture and hard circumstances?

  8. One of the greatest blessings God has given us is a family to hold fast together with. What does it mean to be a discipling family that puts into each other? Who is pouring into you and who are you pouring into?

  9. Which of the four applications do you feel you are doing well in. Which do you need prayer to grow in?
